Dental Engineering is a Christchurch based company that services the Canterbury region. We are locally owned and operated. Whether you are having a new build, renovation or maintenance, we offer complete consultation, installation, maintenance and repair services for dental, medical and veterinary equipment.

We have over 50 years of combined experience in dental and medical technology. You are in good hands.

Zane is the co-owner of Dental Engineering and has 23 years of experience in the Clinical Engineering industry. He has worked all over New Zealand and internationally. He has been the owner/director of Medx in Whangārei for 15 years and recently moved to Christchurch with his wife Juliet and 2 sons Josh and Morgan. He enjoys mountain biking in the Port Hills, skiing in Winter and spending time with his family.

Zane is on the board of the New Zealand Institute of Healthcare Engineering. He has completed training through Tertiary Education, Biomedical Training, EWRB, and NZIHE. He has also completed in-house training with all the major dental companies, including Henry Schein, Ivoclar, Melag, Aluro Healthcare, Dentsply Sirona, and Cattani, which enables him to work on any equipment in your surgery to the highest level.

Zane is an excellent technician who prides himself in completing work to a high standard.

John is New Zealand born and bred, and proud of it! John has recently moved to Christchurch with his partner Alison and their much loved and completely spoiled fur baby Nelson (pussy cat). They've quickly settled into the Waimakariri district and wonder why they didn't do it sooner!

John has lived and worked overseas and after his return to New Zealand moved into the dental and medical technology industry which he has enjoyed for over 30 years. He loves the speed at which technology changes and enhances all facets of medicine.

He thinks it is never too late to learn and is currently engaged in learning skills to further enhance his abilities. John plans to spend his spare time enjoying all that Canterbury has to offer including getting onto skis next Winter after a gap of 30 years.
